Sunday. has a runoff collection and storage system, that uses propriatary algorithms, to know exactly how much water your plant needs in a day. You can optionally measure the runoff tank (with the pH/EC sensor) before emptying it, to let us know even more information about how much nutrients your plants are consuming and we can edit the irrigation protocols based on these parameters.

We use the image data feed from the cameras to determine when the plant is ready transition between Vegetation and Flowering. We can also detect issues like: Leaf burning/curling, Leaf color, node count, plant height, etc. We use this together with persistent sensor data, to determine an accurate image of what is going on with the plant
What do I need to do?
Not much. Sunday is designed to take care of 95% of the work. But like any smart system, it needs a little help now and then.
Here’s what you’ll need to do during a typical grow cycle:
- Refill the water tank when it’s low (you’ll get a notification).
- Replace nutrient cartridges when they run out—usually once per grow.
- Replace the carbon filter and humidifier pad—about once a cycle.
- Recalibrate the wireless pH + EC sensor every 2–4 weeks (we’ll guide you through it in-app).
- Harvest your herbs and enjoy.
That’s it. No hand mixing. No daily guesswork. Just add water, and let it grow.

All you need to do is plant a seed or clone, close the door, and start the grow cycle from the app. Sunday takes care of the rest. Our AI continuously monitors your plant’s progress and sends you notifications when it’s time to take action, like adding water or trimming. Each step comes with simple, guided instructions, so you always know exactly what to do.
Sunday is built to grow a variety of plants, including herbs, leafy greens, and flowers—but it truly excels at growing any strain of cannabis. Whether you're growing a compact indica, a tall sativa, or a unique hybrid, Sunday adapts to its needs. Our custom grow protocols optimize conditions for popular strains, but even if we don’t have a preset for yours, Sunday automatically fine-tunes light, nutrients, and irrigation to ensure each strain thrives with precision-controlled care.
Your job is to keep the plant happy, and Sunday makes that easy. The app will notify you whenever an action is needed, so you always know what to do. Most of your involvement will come in the second half of the grow cycle, when you'll need to trim leaves and guide the plant under the SCROG net. You’ll also need to fill the water tank at the start of the grow and roughly once a week after that. Beyond that, you can monitor your plant through the built-in camera and enjoy watching it thrive.
Grow time depends on the plant and strain. Most cannabis strains take between 8–14 weeks from seed to harvest. Sunday optimizes conditions to ensure the best possible growth rate.

Yes, Sunday has a dedicated app available for both iOS and Android. You can monitor your grow, receive notifications, and control your Sunday remotely from anywhere in the world.
Sunday is designed to fit seamlessly into any indoor space. For optimal performance, place it in a room with stable temperatures, away from direct sunlight or extreme humidity. Proper ventilation around the unit helps maintain airflow, but no special setup is required.
Sunday is designed to handle short power outages without issue. When power is restored, it will resume operation automatically, maintaining your grow settings. If needed, the app will notify you to check on your plant. However, if the power is off for several hours or if outages happen frequently, it may disrupt the grow cycle and impact plant health.
Sunday measures 60 × 60 × 110 cm, giving your plants plenty of space to grow while still fitting comfortably in most homes. Its compact footprint makes it easy to place in a discreet corner, while the height allows for healthy plant development.
Before adding water, Sunday is solid but easy enough for one person to move and position. Once the tank is filled, though, it gets much heavier and isn’t something you’ll want to shift around. So, find the perfect spot first—then commit. We’ll share exact weight details soon!
Currently, Sunday is optimized for photoperiod strains and does not support autoflowers. However, we’re actively working on adding support for autoflowers in the future. Stay tuned for updates!
For the best results, use distilled, reverse osmosis (RO), or soft tap water. Avoid hard water with high mineral content, as it can interfere with nutrient balance and pH regulation.
Sunday is designed to work exclusively with its own nutrient system, which is precisely formulated for automated dosing. Using other nutrients may affect performance and could require manual adjustments. We do not support or provide assistance for setups using non-Sunday nutrients.
No, Sunday does not use any pesticides. The controlled, enclosed environment minimizes the risk of pests, reducing the need for any chemical treatments.

How Does It Work?
Sunday automates every part of the grow—from lighting and climate to irrigation and safety—using sensors, cameras, and smart algorithms. Here’s how the system works, from top to bottom:
1. Smart Lighting & Cameras.
Sunday’s full-spectrum LED lights use 0–100% PWM dimming, adjusting intensity based on the stage of the plant’s life and its height—measured by onboard cameras. These cameras snap a photo every 10 minutes and upload it to the cloud.
This enables:
Live remote viewing from the app
AI-powered plant health monitoring
Automated time-lapse creation (“growlapses”)
2. Climate Control.
The box uses two fans—one for intake and one for extraction.
A carbon filter on the exhaust removes smell.
A humidifying pad on the intake helps hit ideal VPD levels during seedling and early veg.
Quiet Mode slows the fans at night—perfect if the box is in your bedroom.
3. Precision Irrigation.
Sunday uses a two-tank system:
Tank 1: You pour in fresh water.
Tank 2: Used to mix the irrigation batch. The system automatically doses nutrients and adjusts pH using crop steering techniques
Irrigation: Delivered via drip lines, based on the plant’s stage.
Drain-to-waste: Excess water is pumped to a runoff container for easy disposal.
Sunday measures daily runoff and adjusts watering to match how much the plant actually drinks—avoiding both overwatering and underwatering
Optional: You can measure the runoff pH + EC with the wireless sensor to fine tune the mix with what the plant is absorbing, and maximize yield.
How Much Money Do You Actually Save?
Each grow with Sunday yields about 100 to 150 grams. At typical U.S. prices, that’s roughly $1,000 to $2,250 worth of flower.
